October 16, 2019 (Los Angeles, CA) – Pulitzer prize-winning photographer Tyler Hicks will receive the 2019 Lucie Impact Award, given to a photographer whose work has made a substantial impact during this year. The Lucie Awards also announces that acclaimed Broadway actor Alton Fitzgerald White will once again host this year’s gala Lucie Awards presentation on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, in New York City. White is most widely known for his record-breaking 4,308 performances as King Mufasa in Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway.
