Monument symbolising the deportation of Koreans. The bigger piece of the broken pyramid represents the Korean peninsula, and the smaller piece represents the deported Koreans of Central Asia. After the fall of the USSR, ethnic minority groups had the possibility of returning to their motherlands. However, this was not possible for Soviet Koreans, as they were rejected entry to South Korea.
