Danielle Del Rosario

Photo Education Coordinator, Las Fotos Project

Born in the Philippines and raised in East Hollywood, my culture and upbringing are naturally intertwined, weaving the person I am today. I’m fueled by my passions for the arts, education, photographic storytelling, and activism. Inspired by my childhood memories, family, and vivid dreams, my work often focuses on documentation and re-imagining. I’m constantly examining the nuances of the Filipina identity and yearn for oral stories that aren’t always spotlighted or deemed “valuable” in our history. Currently, I’m primarily involved in arts programming and believe in restorative justice as a way to heal and uplift present and future generations.
