Located within a well-protected complex, it was started up in January 2015 by Manar Moalin, a 33-year-old woman from the Somali diaspora. The club offers hairdressing services, a spa, a gym, a billiards room, live music, a restaurant and narghilè, all activities that remain a taboo in Somalia; anyone practising them becomes a target for the Islamic fanaticism of Al Shabaab.
