On January 24, when the Government and their allied militias attacked the town of Golo, women and children were forced to flee to the mountains, where they live under trees outside of Kome, Central Darfur, Sudan, February 28, 2015. Sudanese government forces and their allied militias ransacked the town, slaughtering civilians, and raping women and girls. Survivors of sexual violence, which is widespread and systematic, have had little or no access to services.
