The town of Aramba, which was attacked and destroyed by Sudanese Government forces and their allied militias, remains abandoned in North Darfur, Sudan, February 26, 2015. In January 2015, the UN Panel of Experts on Sudan reported that over 3,000 villages were burned in Darfur in 2014, predominantly in government-led attacks.
