SNAPSHOP! 2017 Instructor Opportunity 

 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Tuesday, January 3, 2017

 

SNAPSHOP! – a program of the Lucie Foundation, a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit charitable organization, is a photography workshop that is offered annually students in Los Angeles County who show talent and interest, but may not have the resources to study in extra curricular workshops.

SNAPSHOP! takes place over four consecutive weeks in February, during the course of which students are paired with established photographers who will impart practical, technical, and aesthetic knowledge of crafting a photographic image.

The 2017 installation of SNAPSHOP! is conducted in partnership with EduCare, a Los Angeles-based youth development after school program, and Los Angeles Unified School District.

 

**Our instructors are professional photographers imparting real-world wisdom, instruction and inspiration to students.

**This is a paid position.

BELL HIGH SCHOOL: 4328 Bell Avenue, Bell, CA 90201

Week 1: February 6, 3-6 pm, February 9, 3-6 pm

Week 2: February 13, 3-6 pm, February 16, 3-6 pm

Week 3: February 23, 3-6 pm,February 24, 3-6 pm

Week 4: February 27, 3-6 pm, March 2, 3-6 pm

Conclusion: Final Exhibition & Gala, TBD
