Mr. Abelino and his wife Angelica, tobacco laborers, walk through a field of tobacco that sells its product to Philip Morris International. Each year, Philip Morris International (Malboro) sells more than 870 billion cigarettes. Even with huge revenues, the tobacco laborers don’t get any improvement in their quality of life during the tobacco season. Mr Abelino and Ms. Angelica have to walk for almost an hour to get to the nearest town to buy food and medicines while they are living in the tobacco fields.
