The East and West Coast Lucie Lecture Series features world-renowned, master photographers who have received or will receive Lucie Awards during the annual gala ceremony. The West Coast Lucie Lecture Series will take place during the Month of Photography Los Angeles and the East Coast Lecture Series takes place the days leading up to the Annual Lucie Awards Cremony. Previous lectures have included Taryn Simon, John H. White, Melvin Sokolsky, Herman Leonard, Albert Watson, Richard Misrach, Graciela Iturbide, and Nan Goldin. In 2014 the Lucie Foundation introduced a lecture series, “Vision + Visionaries”, a conversation about inspiration and the creative process.
A four-day, immersive workshop that includes lectures, photo walks, critiques and portfolio reviews.
Join Nick Ut, the 2014 Lucie Award Honoree for Achievement in Photojournalism, along with Mark Edward Harris, International Photography Award Book of the Year winner as they join together to present their first workshop in Shanghai, China.
