After you leave Loft at Liz's, head southwest to Duncan Miller Gallery where Verge Photographers will open their show on March 30 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Verge Photographers is a group of five artists that are being sponsored by The Duncan Miller Projects and includes Los Angeles-based photographers Liz Huston, Jamie Johnson, Claire Mallett, Rico Mandel and Marjorie Salvaterra. These photographers each have diverse styles and visions for their work.

Fresh Look - A Portfolio Review is still accepting submissions to participate in the only A LA CARTE review program on the West Coast. Submit by midnite Pacific Standard Time for the opportunity to meet with select industry insiders that can provide critical feedback to your work in a relaxed environment. Reviewer-selected participants' work will also be projected during one of MOPLA's events.

2013 LUCIE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED!

We are thrilled and honored to announce the following emerging photographers who have been shortlisted for the 2013 Emerging Scholarship cash grant in the amount of $2,500.00. The final recipient will be announced on our website, our Facebook page and Twitter account on Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Thank you to each photographer who submitted their work for our consideration. Submissions came from all over the world and touched upon a variety of interesting subjects and stories. After reviewing the work, we felt expanded and invigorated and while we wish we could support all of the applicants in our pool, we wish you continued exploration of your craft.
