THE 2012 EMERGING SCHOLARSHIP GRANT IS CLOSING ON JANUARY 31, 2012. SUBMIT A PROPOSAL AND YOU CAN EARN $2500.00 TO SUPPORT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHIC PROJECT.

All emerging need a little extra support from time to time. The Lucie Foundation is proud to provide this type of support annually in the form of a $2500.00 cash grant given to student photographers and emerging photographers from around the world. The application process is simple and the funds would go towards developing a specific body of work that we'd ideally love to exhibit in the future. The application pool is relatively small and we'd love to see as many projects as possible before January 31, 2012.

To be eligible to receive this grant, you must be a Lucie Foundation member at the student or individual level.

See the application process here.

Learn more about becoming a member here.

And, apply before January 31, midnight Pacific Standard Time, to be considered. Good Luck.

These photographs were taken by Daisuke Ito, our 2011 Emerging Scholarship Recipient. The funds he received allowed him to return to Cuba and continue a long-term documentation project on a boxing training gym in Cuba.
